Japanese brand Sony innovates again by opening its Aquatech Store Xperia. The futuristic aquatic concept store is located four meters under the sea, in the The World Islands off the coast of Dubai.

The pop-up store launched on December 3, 2014. Its three-day run was the result of a smart marketing campaign promoting the model Xperia Z3 Dual, a product that is totally waterproof and resistant to the pressure of water and dust.

Access to the architectural and technological concept store, which mimics the form and electricity of a jellyfish, was only for lucky competition winners, a few members of the media, and some special Sony VIPs.
Before visiting the store accompanied by a professional scuba diver, each client participated in mandatory scuba diving training in a swimming pool. The visitors were able to stay in position while standing under water and breathe normally through smartphones, tablets and accessories.
