Freitag is a Swiss fashion brand that got known for recycling ruck tarpaulins, cycle inner tubes and car seatbelts into bags (and now some little accessories like wallets too).

The brands not only innovates with its products but also with its marketing itself.

As we could see in the Berlin store, Freitag offers tourists (and residents too we guess) the possibility to borrow a bike at no charge to tour the city. The only thing you have to do is to accept to be turned into a brand ambassador, riding on a branded bike with a branded helmet.

If you want some more information about how Freitag transforms its raw material into attractive products, you may want to look at the video below or bowse the Freitag’s YouTube channel.

Advice for your marketing strategy

Sometimes it doesn’t take much to hire ambassadors and get some free advertising. If you have a hard time getting your brand known, think about what people would love to get in exchange of a little bit of visibility.

A few bikes don’t cost a lot and are a great way to promote a positive image with little money.
