You know that we strong supporters of Design and that we believe a great customer experience can make the difference. Design can help enhance your differentiation as we explained in previous posts.

During one of our latest trips we noticed an interesting detail  the APC store that is very much Design-relevant. APC is a top-tier fashion retailer that was certainly attracted to Boulevard Beaumarchais because of the vicinity of Merci which has successfully attracts up to 5000 sophisticated visitors a day (thanks to a unique positioning and localization of its store).

What struck us was the door of the store. While most retail stores have transparent doors, APC went for a stone door that is homogeneous with the front wall. The results is very strange and undoubtedly catch the attention of pedestrians walking by.

 

Advice for your marketing strategy

Look at your competitors in the vicinity. How can you change the elements of your front wall to make them notice you exist and you’re different?
