While on a tour to detect retail innovations in London, I spotted an interesting device at Niketown on Oxford street (don’t forget to have a look at our interactive map of innovative stores in Europe).
London’s Niketown is pretty similar to the Nike flagship store of New York. Different departments on each story, each story being organized around one or more sport.
Pretty Much in the center of the London store (on the 3rd floor) you can find an area where the Spring 2017 collection was on display. That’s where I spotted a very cool innovative device featuring the Nike Air Max 1 with what resembled holograms. I made a video of it which you can watch below.
The result is really stunning and reminded me of what I saw at Hublot’s store on Place Vendôme in Paris. While the Hublot’s displays were working with monochrome e-ink, those at Nike were in color and displayed really better.Tags: market research belgium, market research france, retail
