Powered by architect Keisuke Fujiwara and in collaboration with Japanese designer Kazumasa Nagai, this one-week pop-up shop features products from the Pleats Please Issey Miyake brand.

For the exhibit, Fujiwara transformed fun geometries into various design details, creating a unique visual experience. Each item is based on a motif of five stylized animals from the poster “Life” that Nagai created in 1993.

The Japanese pop-up shop is located at the Shinjuku Isetan 1F in Tokyo and has an area of 72 mq. It is the result of manufacturing and construction by the School of Tokyo Metropolitan University, which is overseeing the project from the beginning to the final dedication.
