In our quest to discover emerging marketing trends in the retail sector, we pay frequent visits to European main cities and their pop-up stores. The latter have become a real part of modern marketing strategies and branding. Yet, finding those pop-up stores has proved (due to their ephemeral nature) very difficult. Special magazines (like LSA in France) give from time to time information on newly opened stores, but it remains very incomplete.

Look for instance at the Kenzo popup store than remained opened only 1 week.

We wanted to complete the map of innovative retail concepts we started two weeks ago and have put online a Google map of worldwide pop-up stores. This map is shared and everyone can add pop-up stores in her or his city. Feel free to share with the community your finding and to add a placeholder.

To proceed please follow the guidelines below :

  • enter the address of the pop-store (a placeholder will appear)
  • right-click on the placeholder and choose “add to map”
  • add the name of the store in the title
  • add a short description of the store and, if possible, the start and end dates of the pop-up store
